Company profile

Elke Brand und Petra Hermanns represent script writers and novelists since 1999 being located in Frankfurt and Hamburg.

Scripts for sale is also one of Germany's leading agencies selling adaptation rights for German publishers and international authors.

We represent the film rights of the German publishers Beltz & Gelberg, Berlin Verlag, Eichborn Verlag, Schöffling Verlag and of the Ullstein publishing group.

2005 we started to work with international agencies in order to sell the German tv rights of their authors. Our international partners are the Bonnier Group Agency, Norstedts Agency, Loud Agency, Julian Friedmann, AP Watts, Dinah Wiener and the Rod Hall Agency (selection).

In December 2007 the first example of our efforts has been on screen: the adaptation of Mari Jungstedts (Sweden) novels "Den du inte ser" and "In denna stilla natt", both produced by Network Movie, Hamburg for the German broadcaster ZDF.

If you are an international agency controlling film or tv rights and you are interested in offering your rights within the German speaking countries please contact Elke Brand.
